November always keeps us busy preparing and serving many of our schools auctions. Villa Duchesne, DeSmet and St. Clare of Assisi held their annual dinner auctions. Bishop DuBourg held their annual auction with their theme being “I’ll be Home for Christmas”. St. Elizabeth Academy hosted an Alumni lunch on a great Saturday afternoon. Bishop DuBourg hosted their sports banquets. Kennedy Catholic High School held their all sports banquet in the commons area. St. Joseph’s Academy hosted their Boutique Night. SLUH continued with their class reunion dinners. Logan College had a groundbreaking reception. Visitation Academy hosted a breakfast and lunch conference.

December begins with a bang. St. Louis County Police had a delicious breakfast with traditional favorites. Villa Duchesne, SLUH, Visitation Academy, St. Joseph’s Academy and Bishop DuBourg celebrated the holiday with their Faculty and Staff par- ties. St. Monica, Logan College, Alberici Constructors, St. Elizabeth Academy, St. Mark School, Seven Holy Founders and Immacolata had their Faculty and Staff Dinners and Luncheons. We also had numerous holiday parties hosted at our client’s homes. St. Vincent DePaul Society hosted a breakfast at St. Anselm’s parish center. Logan College had their winter graduation with a breakfast buffet for 500 people. The following day Logan College had the graduation in the Purser Center with around 1500 family members dining on assorted sandwiches and desserts. Visitation Academy hosted their annual Crescent Moms Holiday luncheon.

January is generally the time when catering can take a breath and regroup for the last leg of the season. Incarnate Word Academy hosted their Hall of Fame Dinner. St. Louis Priory hosted a Monk’s Profession Reception. St. Joseph’s Academy held a class reunion luncheon.

June continues the trend of graduation and Alumni parties and year-end special events. Purina Farms was host to several Dog Shows. Our annual company picnic for employees of Food Service Consultants was held at Nestle Purina Farms in Gray Summit. We had several special events this month. Logan College hosted their Homecoming weekend. It was the school’s 75th anniversary. They held several events and we were chosen to serve the BBQ with 1,000 guests in attendance. The following evening we served their happy hour after the doctors and spouses had a long day of seminars and meetings. Ursuline Academy hosted their Alumni Luncheon.

July slows down somewhat and allows us the opportunity to re-group and start to work on new menus and ideas for the 2010 – 2011 school year. We also had the opportunity to serve the Maggie Welby Golf Tournament.

August, as always seems to come upon us so quickly. It seems as if the school year has just ended and here we go again. With each new school year, brings our new school accounts. Catholic Education host- ed its annual Teachers Orientation at the Catholic Education Campus, followed by Direction Days at St. Louis University High. Missouri Baptist University kicks off their school year with a Back to School weekend of events and the Presidents Reception. Logan College held their graduation celebration in the Purser Center. St. Louis Priory hosted their back to school dinner with an outside BBQ. The next couple of weeks teachers started making their way back to school so we pro- vided lunches for the teachers. With so many to list I don’t want to for- get anybody. We also served Incarnate Word Academy’s New Parent Dinner. Visitation Academy hosted their Crescent Dinner which welcomes new students and parents. Nestle Purina held their company’s Family Days at the new Event Center at Nestle Purina Farms. They had a beautiful day for this event. Their 4,000 guests enjoyed a BBQ luncheon that we provided. They also had rides, carnival games and other items for the employees and families to enjoy.

September started off with a wedding reception in Logan College’s Purser Center. Nestle Purina Farms hosted the GSLVMA BBQ which recognizes the Veterinarians in the area. Ursuline Academy hosted their Freshman Induction Ceremony. St. Joseph’s Academy hosted their Celestine Dinner. In September we also start the beginning process of the Fall Auction Season with schools such as St. Dominic High, DeSmet, Villa Duchesne, St. Clare of Assisi and Bishop DuBourg. Villa Duchesne also hosted their annual Grandparents Breakfast and Mass on a Sunday morning. St. Louis University High School started their reunion dinners with the class of 1955 and 1980.

As we head into our busy time of the year we always want to thank the individuals at their respected schools for all their support throughout this time of the year.

March began with St. Elizabethan Academy hosting their annual auction. We also had the privilege of serving Kennedy Catholic High School’s dinner auction. Alberici Constructors hosted several meetings and lunches for Shaw Nature Reserve. Missouri Baptist University hosted their Senior Adult Day. Rosati-Kain hosted their student conferences. St. Joseph’s Academy held their Racquetball Awards Dinner. The Aim High Foundation hosted their event at Classic Car Studio in Brentwood. They nibbled on Sliders, four cheese cavatelli with white truffle oil along with several other items. Kennedy Catholic hosted their winter sports banquet. St. Louis University High and Incarnate Word Academy also hosted their auction dinners. St. Peters hosted a deanery dinner. St. Mary’s had a dedication lunch for their new baseball field. Missouri Baptist University hosted the Heritage Society Dinner.

April started off with a Dinner at Missouri Baptist for the Spirit Wing. Duchesne High School, St. Ann Catholic Church, St. Bridget and Cathedral hosted their annual Dinner Auctions. Catholic Education hosted their Celebrity Waiter Dinner. Logan College hosted their graduation breakfast and luncheon in the William D. Purser Center. Villa Duchesne hosted the Sacred Heart Network dinner and luncheon. Ursuline Academy hosted their annual Mother/Daughter Breakfast. Kennedy Catholic High School hosted an endowment dinner. With other luncheon and dinner receptions our April kept us busy. Everyone have a blessed Easter.
